Yes, me too

Perhaps you could say that I was feeling left out since Jessie started her own blog (psychiceggplant.blogspot.com) on top of the family blog we already have (atchisonclan.com). I guess I just felt like getting my own place to talk about some more geeky stuff than the family blog normally has. Since we’re using WordPress to run almost the entire family site and it doesn’t easily allow for multiple blogs, I decided to have my blog hosted on wordpress.com and then just syndicate it on the family website – like what we’re doing with Jessie’s blog.

I do want to thank the Steffensens for their site. It was extremely helpful in setting up my own family site. The plugin and theme for Gallery2 work beautifully. So thanks!

Hopefully I can post some things here that other people might find useful or interesting. I’ve gotten plenty of tutorials and instructions from other blogs on everything from setting up various features on MythTV to changing brake pads. Maybe it’s about time I put some things out there in hopes of trying to help somebody else out. I guess we’ll see.
